If Africa lacks anything, it is not money. We don’t lack resources. God has blessed us so much that even when we plant on rocks, they will still grow. Other countries don’t have sun yet they have solar generating power. We have sun but no solar generating power. If there is anything we lack as Africans, it is leadership.
Many years ago, I was studying the Book of Nehemiah and the Lord told me to watch where I was reading carefully. Immediately God told me “Do you know that Nehemiah didn’t carry people from where he was to come and build the broken wall? The people leaving around the wall were the same people he used to rebuild the wall why?…. he just went to give them leadership”. Nehemiah had no problem where he was leaving because he was a cup-bearer of a despotic monarch. He was hyper comfortable where he was leaving, but when he heard about the broken wall, he went to give the people leadership. All Nehemiah did to rebuild the broken wall was to give them leadership. So, if you are going through any crisis in life, chances are that there is a leadership problem somewhere.
