“Men always ought to pray and not to lose heart.”
LUKE 18:1
No historic or modern revival took place without people realizing that they must pray. I am not talking about sanctimonious prayers. I am talking about long and consecrated prayers, which goes along with fasting. Throughout the years, I have never gone for an all-night meeting only to give a prayer topic for people to pray whiles I relax somewhere, only to come back and change the prayer topic. As a leader, I must set the example for the congregation. If you are a prayerless pastor, your members will also be prayerless.
Even if once upon a time, you used to pray and because of your busy schedules, you don’t get time to pray again, your congregation will be affected because the oil flows from the top; they equally need to be motivated to pray. You need to get a fresh desire to pray once again in spite of your busy schedules. I believe the time has come for us to engage our weapons of prayer, to conquer the battles ahead of us.
PRAYER:
Pray and ask God to give you a fresh desire for prayers…….
TODAY’S QUOTE:
Earthly achievements should not stop you from seeking God.
