“As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, ‘Son of David, have mercy on us!’ When He had gone indoors, the blind men came to Him, and Jesus asked, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’ ‘Yes, Lord,’ they replied. Then He touched their eyes and said, ‘According to your faith let it be done to you.'” – Matthew 9:27-29
These two blind men would not have received their healing if they hadn’t first believed in Jesus’ ability to heal them. Jesus asked, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” When He saw their faith, He declared, “According to your faith, let it be done to you.” Healing cannot come without faith. Faith is rooted in the Word of God, and true faith means complete dependence on God and His promises.
We thank God for doctors and scientists, yet there are situations where medical science falls short, and doctors are left without answers. In such moments, when patients turn to faith, what seemed impossible to doctors becomes possible. Remember, your healing is always connected to your faith, not to the number of doctors you consult or the pills you take each day. This doesn’t mean God doesn’t work through doctors or medical science; it’s simply a reminder to anchor yourself in faith and stand assured in your healing.
