Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

A lot of Christian women think that when they get married, whatever they do, their husbands will still love them. Don’t deceive yourself because when you provoke a man to anger, he can decide to leave Church and divorce you. Don’t deceive yourself to think that because you married in Christ, you cannot lose your marriage. We will never encourage divorce in the church because we are not encouraged to do that but your attitude can create that demon.
You must have it at the back of your mind that anything God gives you, if you don’t handle it well, you can lose it. Don’t ever deceive yourself to think that it cannot happen to you because I have seen it happen to Pastor’s wives. They taught they had arrived, so they took things for granted. Even God, when you don’t humble yourself before Him, He will not hear your cry. How do I know this? “If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land” (1Chronicles 7:14).

Pray and ask God to clothe you with the spirit of humility……..
