Every struggle in your life can be settled with love. When the love of God is in your heart, your struggles in life come to an end. A lot of Christians are serving God not because they love Him, but for the things they hope to receive from Him. The love of God is made possible through the help of the Holy Spirit. When you succeed in walking in that kind of love, your heavens will stay open. David walked in that kind of love. In fact, he was described as a man after God’s heart. You remember how he obtained the throne of Israel? Someone was defying the army of God, and David said, “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine? I would rather die than to watch him continue.” Love drove him to face Goliath, and love brought him the victory! If you want your heavens to stay open, then you must allow the love of God to reign in your heart. You can also demonstrate this love in your giving because God Himself demonstrated His love for us by first giving us His only begotten son (John 3:16).
