“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil” EPHESIANS 6:11
God is an omnipotent God; all powers belong to Him but it does not mean that the devil is weak. If the devil had no power, God won’t have asked us to put on the whole armor to guard ourselves against principalities and powers. The devil is not that weak as you think. The only thing about you the devil fears is the Christ in you. That is why I fear to see you lose Jesus in your life because you are giving the devil a legal right into your life.
When Jesus comes into your life, he comes with another person called the Holy Spirit. When the enemy comes in like a flood, it is this same spirit that will lift up a standard (Isaiah 59:19). The Bible acknowledges that the devil has power in Luke 10:19 “Behold I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the powers of the enemy….” So the enemy has power but it is what you do that makes him impotent and there is also what you do that makes him more powerful. The good news, however, is that we have been given authority to overcome every power of the enemy.
