The fact that we all sit in church does not mean that everyone has faith. There are Christians who do not have faith in their own prayers. When God answers their prayers, they even become surprise. In the book of Mark 4:35-38, God was measuring the faith of the disciples. Watch, “And on the same day, when the evening was come, He said unto them, let us pass over to other side….” Anytime you see a sea, you can stand on one side and see a land on the other end. Jesus told the disciples, “Let us pass over to the other side” As they were sailing, there came a great storm that beat the boat but Jesus was fast asleep.
The reason Jesus was asleep was that His faith was alive; He had already seen Himself on the other side. What was the purpose of the storm? You can never tell you have faith until adversity comes your way. In every step of your Christian life, you must be tested. From where you are to the next level, you must write an examination prepared by the devil. Job never got double blessings until satan was released to test him. Most of the things you are going through are part of your training. We are called the armies of God and in the army, the level you rise to determines the test you must go through.

Pray and ask God to give you courage to walk through every storm in your life……
