“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
LUKE 10:19
The Bible says we have been given the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and nothing shall harm us. The problem with the church today is that we fear the harm. We don’t believe in the power we have. One sign of this fear is that we don’t even want to do anything with demons, but the devil is such that even if you don’t attack him, he will still come after you. Always be in the offensive. Don’t wait for the devil to come halfway. Rather take the battle to his camp. It is a strategy for winning any battle.
The first knowledge you must have to overcome the enemy is to know who you are in Christ. If you are not praying, fasting and reading the word of God, then you have allowed the enemy to invade your camp. The devil is not afraid of you, he is afraid of the Christ in you. There are three things the devil cannot handle: the blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus and the power of God`s word. Anytime you lift the Word of God, in the eyes of the enemy, you have lifted up a sword. I pray that from today, you will receive power to deal with every enemy in your life.
PRAYER:
Pray and ask God to give you the courage to stand every demonic serpent and scorpions in your life….
TODAY’S QUOTE:
The devil is not afraid of you; he is afraid of the Christ in you.
