AUG. 11- FINALLY, MY BRETHREN, BE STRONG IN THE LORD

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”

EPHESIANS 6:10

Paul wrote to the Ephesians’ church to be strong, not in anything but in the Lord and in the power of His might. This is the secret to living the victorious Christian life. Week after week, we stand in prayers to strengthen ourselves in the Lord because we need to generate enough power to scare the devil in our lives. Remember, the devil has no respect for your money, beauty or education; he is afraid of your power in Christ Jesus.

Brethren, be strong in the Lord; exercise yourself in the Lord; exercise your spirit in prayer.  You need to be strong for your own life and others who depend on you. Remember, no prophet or man of God can stand in for you all the time because there is no substitute for your personal input. Do not expect anyone to be strong in the Lord for you. You need to stand yourself just as Paul said, “Having done everything, stand…” (Eph. 6:13) Remain steadfast, firm and strong in the Lord.

PRAYER:

Pray and ask God to help you strengthen the relationship you have with Him…..

TODAY’S QUOTE:

There is no substitute for your personal input. You need to strengthen yourself.
