I CORINTHIANS 14:18
Many have misunderstood and misinterpreted this precious gift from the Holy Spirit. Most often you will hear people say things like, “In my church, we don’t speak in tongues”. The thing about speaking in tongues goes beyond your church, so don’t let your ignorance rob you of your divine blessings. You have to understand that going to a local church is not enough to win the battles of life. You will need something more than that to win your battles in life because life will only give you what you bargain for. Once you become born again, the next thing that follows is that you must speak in tongues. In fact, it is the first sign after you receive Jesus as your Lord and savior. (Acts 10:44-46)
Apostle Paul said “I thank my God; I speak in tongues more than ye all” (1 Cor. 14:18). Paul was walking in a higher dimension because he had a secret; he spoke in tongues more than everyone. He wrote two-thirds of the New Testament, and this happened as a result of his consistent praying in the Holy Ghost. I have seen some deceptions other men of God teach on this subject, yet they themselves don’t pray in tongues because you cannot give what you don’t have. I have learned by experience that every time you pray in tongues, you confirm the judgment of the Holy Spirit against the devil.

In case you desire the gift of speaking in tongues, pray and ask God to fill you with His Spirit……
