OCT. 24 – HONOUR IS A SEED

“The elders who rule well are to be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.” 1 Timothy 5:17

Honor is a major key to silence an evil altar.

Every failure in life can be traced to someone you dishonoured! If you sow dishonor, you will reap dishonor.

There are structures that God has created that we have to honour.

Men of God have been put over your life for your benefit. They will teach you the word, and one day they will give God an account for your soul.

If you dishonor them you will regret it.

Talk is cheap. Most people who spend their time talking about men of God have never preached one sermon in their lives.

They only know how to insult men of God for driving cars or living in nice houses. Yet the Bible teaches that those who preach the gospel must live by the gospel.

If you have ever joined people to insult a man of God, repent today. If you have not done what someone has done, do not talk about them. If you are given the position, you will do worse than what you think they are doing.

You cannot finish gossiping about a man of God and then put your head under their hand for anointing! It will not work!

Instead of insulting them, pray for them, bless them and help them to accomplish their ministry for your sake.

Prayer: Lord, forgive me for sowing seeds of dishonor. Help me to honour those you have given authority over my life. In Jesus name, Amen.
