OCT. 27 – KEEP HOPE ALIVE

“Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, “So shall thy seed be.”

Romans 4:18

Faith is a currency that doesn’t depreciate or change value in any country. With faith, you can buy anything you need in the spirit. The same way you take a currency on earth and purchase items worth the value of that currency, you can also take your faith and use it to acquire anything in the realm of the spirit.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for; which means that faith is dependent on hope.

However, many pastors are preaching faith to members who have lost their hope.

When you are trying to reason, you will miss God. Because He is the God who sees the Red Sea in front of you and says “Go forward.” When the Israelites obeyed, the Bible says that the Red Sea saw them and fled.

In your quest to walk by faith, believe God to speak to you, and believe for grace to obey.

Once your hope is intact, someway, somehow, God will make a way.

Any time you are depressed, it means that you have lost your worship. Raise up your spirit, encourage yourself in the Lord and keep hope alive.

Even a tree when it is cut down, still has hope. Because hopelessness is a spirit, you have to speak to it. In Proverbs 13:12, the Bible says that “Hope deferred makes the heart sick…”

To defer is like to switch something off. But to succeed you must recognize that failure is not a destination. You are hopeless because you think it is over. But it is not over until you win. It is scriptural for you to be challenged, but it is unscriptural for you to be defeated.

Prayer: Lord, let my hope come back to life in every area of my life, in Jesus name. Amen.
