“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.” — DANIEL 12:3
Righteousness causes people to shine like stars. If you truly desire honor, wisdom dictates that you should desire righteousness even more. Let your desire for righteousness exceed your desire for honor because when righteousness is in place, honor follows automatically. Joseph became a ruler in Egypt because he refused to touch Potiphar’s wife. Honor is guaranteed when practical righteousness is present.
Righteousness is the foundation of honor. When it is missing, honor is absent. No matter what you do, honor will not be guaranteed until righteousness is in place. Desire righteousness, and honor will follow you. The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are perfect toward Him. Righteousness is the surest path to the top. Stop committing that sin and experience God’s honor in your life.
Prayer: Pray and ask God to forgive your sins and restore you to His righteousness.
