SEP. 2 – AVAIL YOURSELF FOR GOD TO USE

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” — JAMES 4:8

Some people can attend a crusade and receive their healing, but by the time they return home, their sickness comes back. Why is that so? In this life, whoever you avail yourself to will use you. God is looking for someone to use, and Satan is also looking for someone to use. Whomever you make yourself available to will surely use you. This is why we need the church, this is why we need to pray, and this is why we need to seek the face of God daily.

If the devil doesn’t find someone to use as a point of contact, he is as powerless as an ant. It is when he gets someone to use that he can release his power. Without Eve, Satan wouldn’t have gained access to the garden. You can be a Christian and attend church regularly, but if you make yourself available to the devil, he will certainly use you to destroy the work of God; he will use you to harm God’s children, and he will use you to hurt your loved ones. Sometimes, you can be doing all these things without even knowing that you are under the influence of the devil.

If there is anyone to whom you must avail yourself, it must be God. He will surely use you to accomplish His works here on earth.

Prayer: Pray and ask God to help you abide in Him and to walk in His statutes.
