SEP. 5 – FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.” — 1 TIMOTHY 6:12

There is no victory without a battle. The Bible describes faith as a good fight, which means that every fight you engage in is a bad fight except the fight of faith. Anytime you engage in a faith battle, God calls it a good fight. Faith is something you can take and use as a weapon to fight for your victory. By exercising the principle of faith, the Bible says, “You shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” The Word of God also says, “We are more than conquerors,” which means that before you even engage in any battle with the devil, God has already declared you a winner.

In John 5:4, the Bible says, “For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world, even our faith.” Faith is neither a philosophy nor an ideology, but rather a fighting force. That is why it has the power to move mountains. No mountain can survive the presence of faith. I encourage you to move every mountain in your life by faith today because the time has come for us to put on our fighting gloves and begin the fight of faith.

Prayer: Pray and ask God to help you stand against all the fiery darts of the enemy.
