OCT. 8 – HAVE THE GOD KIND OF FAITH – PART 1

“For what if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?” – Romans 3:3 (KJV)

There is something called natural faith. For example, if you’re crossing a road and see a car approaching, something within you tells you that if you move now, the car will hit you. That’s natural faith at work. Another example could be this: when you stand on a small chair, natural faith tells you that if you jump, nothing serious will happen. But if you’re on top of a building, that same natural faith tells you that you’ll need a ladder to get down; you don’t need to quote Scripture to know that. This is what we call natural faith.

Jesus, however, spoke of having the God kind of faith. Some of you have faith, but it’s not the God kind of faith. You’re operating in a different type of faith, and when you don’t see results, you ask God why. The reason it didn’t work is that you weren’t operating in the God kind of faith. The God kind of faith never fails. The reason many people don’t operate in this faith is that they are driven by their feelings. There’s another kind of faith the world has taught us—sensual faith. You believe and confess it, but you’re not acting on it.

PRAYER:
Pray and ask God to help you operate in the kind of faith that will unlock your blessings.
