OCT. 15 – REVIVE YOUR PRAYER LIFE – PART 3

“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.” – Luke 18:1 (NIV)

No revival in history, whether ancient or modern, has occurred without people recognizing the necessity of prayer. I’m not referring to ritualistic prayers, but rather to prolonged, heartfelt prayers accompanied by fasting. Over the years, I have never attended an all-night prayer meeting only to assign prayer topics while I relax somewhere, returning later to change the focus. As a leader, it is my responsibility to set an example for the congregation. If you are a prayerless pastor, your members will also be prayerless.

Even if you once had a strong prayer life but have let it slip due to a busy schedule, your congregation will feel the effects. The anointing flows from the top, and your people need to be inspired to pray. It’s crucial to rekindle your desire for prayer, despite your demanding schedule.

I believe the time has come for us to wield our weapon of prayer and face the battles ahead of us.

PRAYER:
Ask God to reignite a fresh desire for prayer in your heart.
