“… Even God, who gives life to the dead, and calls those things which do not exist as though they did.” — ROMANS 4:17
God delights in us boldly proclaiming things that challenge Him to act on our behalf. You should not be ashamed to demonstrate your faith publicly. It’s not enough to simply declare positive things over your life in the privacy of your room. The time has come for you to start declaring them openly, without fear or shame. If you’re worried about what others might say, it means you’re not yet ready to receive a miracle.
I know of a great man who, for twelve years, had no child. Doctors had said it would be impossible for him and his wife to conceive. This man came to me and asked me to pray for his wife, because he believed that she would soon conceive. This happened between January and February of that year. By March, his wife became pregnant, and by God’s grace, they are now blessed with a son. As I reflected on this, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that the man used his words to call into being what did not exist. Remember, God calls things that do not exist as though they did; and Jesus also said, “You will have whatever you say” (Mark 11:23).
