NOV. 6 – SEE THINGS THE WAY GOD SEES THEM – PART 1

“Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law.” – Psalm 119:18

It’s essential to see things the way God sees them. When you begin to see from His perspective, your attitude toward everything will transform. Many people struggle in the church because they don’t view things as God does.

You don’t oppose someone who serves as a channel for your blessing. When God sent Samuel to Jesse’s house to anoint one of his sons as king, Samuel saw Jesse’s eldest son and prepared to anoint him. But if God hadn’t spoken from heaven, Samuel would have chosen the wrong king. God said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).

Who says a prophet can’t be misled? Here was Samuel, a prophet whose words never failed, yet even he was about to make a mistake because his sight and perception were limited. Never assume that being highly anointed makes you immune to mistakes; we all need God’s guidance.

PRAYER:
Ask God to help you see things the way He sees them…
