AUG. 11 – HAVE AN APPETITE FOR PRAYER

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching thus with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”

EPHESIANS 6:18

There are many Christians who wake up in the morning and go about their normal businesses without talking to God in prayer. I have come to a place in my Christian life where I cannot just wake up in the morning and go about my normal business without spending at least two hours in prayer. I remember in 2006, I underwent a three day fast and all I was asking God, was to give me an appetite for prayer. I believe God has granted my request, that is why for the past years, I have been able to stand and consistently lead His children through all nights every Friday.

One of the commonest testimonies given by those who regularly attend our all-night meetings is that their prayer lives have changed. Friend, I want you to know that you cannot dive into  water and not be wet. So, if only you can dive into an atmosphere where people are praying, chances are that you will also pray. If only you can hunger and thirst for prayer, you will be elevated from being a victim into becoming a victor. May the Spirit of God take you to a realm where you will become addicted to prayer.

PRAYER:

Pray and ask God to stir in you a hunger for prayers……..

TODAY’S QUOTE:

Prayer is not an option but a necessity for every believer.
