JULY 28 – DON’T PERMIT THE DEVIL

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock:  if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will eat with him, and he with me.”

REVELATION 3:20

Jesus said, “I stand at the door and knock; if any man hears my voice…” How can Jesus knock at your door and still say if you hear my voice? It means that Jesus doesn’t knock with His hands, He rather knocks with His voice. He continues to say, “If any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in….” Which means that if Jesus does not force Himself on you but rather knocks and waits for you to open the door before he enters, then who dares the devil to force himself on you?

One time, I asked the Lord this question: why is the devil even in our life? He said, “We ourselves permitted him”. There are things we do that permit the devil into our lives. That is why deliverance in itself is not a problem. The problem is whether we can keep the deliverance. If you cannot keep the deliverance, then it is better not to be delivered because the devil comes back with seven more terrible demons. One day, the Lord was teaching me something, He said: “Be careful with your conversations because everything about your life, whether it will progress or retrogress is based on your conversation”. I said, Lord, I don’t understand this one. He said, “All the devil did to trap Eve was to engage her in a conversation.

PRAYER:

Pray and ask God to deliver you from any negative conversation that has opened you up for satanic attack.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
