“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord… Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.”

For some people, if they change the way they speak, they will change their marital fortunes. You have prayed all kinds of prayer but the rest of the matter to deal with is your character. The reason God says, “Wives, submit to your husband” is that God created a man such that the moment he meets a woman, there is that natural ego of superiority complex over the woman.
Even if you make more money than your husband, because of that hierarchy God has instituted, you must still submit to him. “And the head of the woman is the man, and the head of the man is Christ and the head of Christ is God” (1 Cor. 11:3). So, it is a spiritual hierarchy God has instituted; if you try to rise above your husband, the marriage will not work. There are two things that can happen; a very strong-hearted man can divorce you from the house and a Christian who fears divorce will only manage you, but you will not get his heartfelt attention.

Pray and ask God to help you establish the ingredients of love and submission in your relationship………
