AUG. 31 – ANGER CAN BE RELEASED

“The discretion of a man defers his anger, and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.”

PROVERBS 19:11

Released anger is the case where someone dismisses anger by letting it go without holding any grudge or bitterness against the person. Anytime you forgive people who have wronged you, you are not doing them a favour; rather ,you do yourself a favour. I know you will ask, “Do you know what they did to me?” No, I don’t need to know. Whatever the reason may be, you must always have a reason to forgive people.

When the wicked Roman soldiers were crucifying Jesus on the cross, Jesus prayed for them and asked His father to forgive them. Jesus said, “Father forgive them; for they know not what they do.” Jesus found a reason to forgive His accusers; we too must find a reason to forgive others and let go of certain issues. God will not also forgive you your sins if you are not ready to forgive people (Mk. 11:25-26). Jesus admonished us that Whenever we stand to pray, we should forgive others their mistakes. Don’t allow anything become a hindrance to your prayers. Release that anger right now!

PRAYER:

Pray and ask God to help you control your anger………..
