ROMANS 12:2
Apostle Paul said, “Be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” Why do you have to renew your mind? Because God cannot do it for you. Jesus paid the price to redeem your spirit, paid the price to inject righteousness into your spirit, but as for your mind, you must renew it yourself. You should be able to sit in church and be lovely. Anytime people come around you and they are depressed, by the time they leave you, their depression must leave them.
We have people who come to church and when others are doing things, they will stand and criticize everything in the church why? Because of the state of their minds. Some people even find it difficult to tell their wives that they are looking good, because to them, it is not necessary. The reason your matrimonial home is in turbulence is that you are marrying your wife the same way your father married your mother that is traditional mindset. Jesus said, “You make the word of God of no effect by the traditions of your fathers.” Never hang around a traditional person no matter how spiritual the person may appear; you must run away from them.
PRAYER:
Pray and ask God to deliver you from wrong traditions……
