SEPT. 15- STOP CONDEMNING YOURSELF

“I, even I, am he that blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and will not remember your sins.”

ISAIAH 43:25

Guilt is when you begin to feel that you have not been forgiven. So many Christians live with a sense of self-damnation; they are always reminding themselves of somethings they did in the past. There is nothing you can do about your past. The only way to deal with past mistakes is to confess, forsake and forget them. The Bible says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us all our sins” (1John 1:9). It is one thing for God to forgive you, and it is another thing to forgive yourself.

I have talked to many Christians who ask me, “Man of God, are you sure God can forgive me of this sin?” And my answer has always been a big ‘Yes’, because I know from scriptures that there is no sin in this world that the blood of Jesus cannot wipe. In case you are battling with any sin, just put it under the blood of Jesus. There is the tendency that you will still commit sin in the future. I am not by this giving you a license to go and sin (Rom 6:15) but in case you even sin in the future, ask God to forgive you and continue your walk with Him.

PRAYER:

Pray and ask God to deliver you from self-damnation and guilt…..

TODAY’S QUOTE:
