OCT. 2- SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Matthew 6:33

What is your primary concern? What do you spend your time, energy and effort pursuing?

The Bible teaches us to seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all other things will be added.

We have turned it. We are busy seeking other things, and hoping the Kingdom will be added eventually.

Some of us have put the Kingdom at par with other things; our jobs, our families, our businesses, any excuse we can find.

Jesus Christ was teaching that people should not worry about food, drink or clothing, but should instead busy themselves with Kingdom business, and in turn, God would cater for their daily needs.

If you care about the Kingdom first, you will pay your tithe, nobody will beg you to give or to serve in the house of God!

Remember, you cannot get to heaven and tell God that you were the CEO of a certain bank, or the MD of a certain organization. Your Kingdom relevance is determined by your Kingdom service.

Prayer: Lord, grant me the grace to refocus my attention on your Kingdom and righteousness first before all other things, in Jesus name, Amen.
