OCT. 4- BE GRATEFUL

“Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;” Ephesians 5:20

There is no prayer that is complete without thanksgiving.

The Bible is full of scriptures that encourage us to give thanks to God. He is the Alpha and the Omega; He is from the beginning and He is already at the end.

No matter what you are going through, and no matter how tough your situation may seem, you always have a reason to thank God.

Thank God for your health, thank Him for your family, thank Him for salvation, thank Him for His mercy. Thank Him that you have commuted every day without an accident. Others went and could not return. Thank Him!

Do not get so fixated on the request that you feel God has not answered that you fail to remember His goodness.

As I always say, even if you think you have lost something, God is the reason you have not lost everything. Rejoice in the Lord, focus on what He has done for you.

You may not have attained all that you are looking for, but you can still lift up a voice of thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is the cheapest way to attract God’s attention.

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for all the things you have done for me by your special grace. Help me to live a life of gratitude.
