OCT. 5- WHAT ARE YOU CONFESSING

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21

This is a widely quoted Scripture in the body of Christ, but many of us do not know how to put it into action.

If life and death are really in the power of the tongue, then we should be very careful what we say! And equally so, we should be very intentional about speaking into being what we expect to see.

This year, make up your mind to keep quiet if you don’t have to speak! As I always say, ‘silence cannot be misquoted!”

Many of us have been trapped by our own words, and later, we regret and are paying for what we said.

In our homes and marriages, many words have cut deep and caused a lot of harm. In our jobs and businesses, and even in our personal lives, we say things like “the economy is hard, I’m broke, I’m sick” etc.

These things might seem like the reality, but we do not dwell in an earthly reality alone, we dwell in a supernatural reality.

In Joel 3:10, The Bible says “Let the weak say, “I am strong…”

I promise you this: If you can change your confession, you can change your possession!

Prayer: Lord, help me to speak in alignment with your word and promises for my life in Jesus name. Amen
