OCT. 6 – DIVINE STRENGTH

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Phillipians 4:13

Are you feeling weak? Tired? Exhausted? Maybe you feel discouraged and want to give up on something.

Longstanding battles have a tendency to wear us down.

If you have been praying about something for a while, and you feel like it’s not changing, sometimes you want to give up on the situation.

Maybe there are challenges in your job and you just feel like quitting; or you’re taking on a new venture and it looks very daunting.

No matter the appearance of the circumstance, God is not limited.

David, a shepherd boy, was facing a giant named Goliath, who had intimidated the entire army of Israel and was causing everyone to tremble, including the King.

But he did not face the giant in his own capacity. He went against him in the name of the Lord of Hosts, and that made all the difference.

Today, make up your mind to change your approach. Don’t approach the situation in your name, approach it in the name of Jesus, because you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!

Prayer: Lord, I believe that you give me the power to do all things. Now I commit ________________ (fill in) into your hands and ask you for strength to overcome. In Jesus name, Amen.
