OCT. 7 – WALK IN LOVE

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

1 Corinthians 13:13

The Bible says that between faith, hope and love, love is the greatest. This is because both faith and hope are dependent on the other two in order to work. Faith is dependent on love and hope, hope is dependent on faith and love, but love does not depend on either of them.

The Bible teaches us that God is love. It does not just say that God loves, it says that God is love itself. If we are to be like God, we can never hope to do so without embodying love.

Love is not hidden in our hearts. It will always show. You cannot love in secret. Your love will definitely be reflected in your actions.

When God wanted to show His love, He gave His only son. What are you giving to show your love?

How do you treat your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ? And your own family? Can someone say they have felt the love of God because of you? Are you a living testimony of God’s love?

Even in the body of Christ, we often do not take time to show love to each other. Make up your mind that today, someone will experience the great love of God because of you.

Prayer: Lord, give me a heart of love, and help me to express love to others in Jesus name.
