Fight the good ight of faith, lay hold on the life eternal, whereunto thous wast called, and thou didst confess the good confession in the sight of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12
When you in engage the fight of faith, the Bible calls it a good fight.
It is very important that you understand this: everything in our generation is fighting your faith.
Medical science, the media, the education system, everything is fighting your faith! Don’t forget that any report contrary to the word of God is against your faith.
When the enemy attacks your house, your car or your health, he’s not really after those things. He’s actually after your faith. If he can attack your properties or family and frustrate you enough to lose your faith, then he has won.
This is because, without faith, it is impossible to please God. If the enemy steals your faith, you cannot be pleasing to God. Faith is the beauty of Christianity. Without it, you are going nowhere.
This is why the Bible refers to faith as a fight! You have to fight to sustain, maintain and grow your faith at all costs.
If you lose anything, make sure you don’t lose your faith!
Prayer: Lord, help me to maintain, sustain and grow my faith for the glory of your name! Amen.
