OCT. 9 – WITH GOD, IT IS POSSIBLE

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37

The angel was speaking to Mary, carrying the promise of God to her. She, a virgin, was to conceive a baby boy, the savior of Israel. Naturally, like most of us, Mary began to ask practical questions. “How can this be, since I know no man?” and the angel explained to her that even her old cousin Elizabeth was with child.

This was probably the greatest impossibility Mary could have imagined! A woman so old that the Bible could not mention her age had conceived and was pregnant with John the Baptist!

When Mary heard this she said “Be it unto me according to thy word.” And so it was, that Mary conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit.

What is God saying to you that sounds impossible? Have you discarded His word because it sounds too difficult to be true? Jesus said “with men, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.”

It is true that there are things which are difficult and even known to be impossible in the realm of men.

That is why you must not dwell in the realm of men, but dwell in the supernatural realm, where nothing is impossible with God.

God’s greatest pain is when we doubt Him. His greatest pleasure is when we believe Him.

Prayer: Lord, today I believe that nothing is impossible with you. Help me to believe in your word and to partner with you. In Jesus name. Amen.
