Seek a divine strategy
“And it came to pass the same night, that the Lord said unto him, Take thy father’s young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it:”
In Judges 6, God revealed to Gideon the cause of the impoverishment of Israel. He was sending Gideon forth as a deliverer. But Gideon first of all needed a divine strategy.
God showed him that idols were the cause of all that had befallen Israel. God told Him to build an altar and make sacrifices to God.
Do not try to confront altars with empty hands! Altars understand the language of sacrifice.
Many Christians do not like to give, and they get angry any time we talk about sacrifice. But those who consult evil powers are willing to make dangerous sacrifices to their altars.
There are protocols in the spirit realm. We cannot serve God on our terms, we must serve Him on His terms.
One of the systems put in place to deal with Altars is divine strategy. Divine strategy is current. That’s why King David always went to God to enquire before every battle.
What worked for you last year might not necessarily work this year.
Ask God to show you what you need to know about your life, and how you can approach it.
Prayer: Lord, give me a divine strategy for breaking through in my life this year in Jesus name! Amen
