“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.” Proverbs 22:1
Godly Character is a key to knocking down altars. We are not talking about wordly character or legalism. Without Godly character, your prayer is useless.
In Galatians 5:18-21 Apostle Paul told them that their character required work!
How can someone be fighting an altar and have a wife and a girlfriend?
How can you say you fighting altars while stealing money from your employers?
The development of every nation is determined by the character of the people.
The more your character improves, the closer you get to God.
God respects it more than your prayer.
When you have it, you pray less but receive more breakthroughs.
In 2 Corinthians 4:2 we are told to reject shameful deeds and underhanded methods. We are to avoid planting injustice, lest we harvest misfortune.
Character is the sum total of your life. Many are praying and fasting without character. No matter how anointed you are, the anointing will drain without Godly character.
Lack of it brought Samson down. It also brought David’s Kingdom down.
The Holy Spirit produces fruit in us, but we have prevented Him from producing in our lives because of our behaviour.
Character is the security of every great destiny.
Another word for the fruit of the spirit is Godly character. Character is a combination of inner and outer qualities that determine the impression people have about you. It is your attitude; it is your inner make up. Your character is your attribute. Character is your personality.
It is the long-term habits that you are committed to express. Much of our Character is what we create.
Character is security!
Every great person moves with security detail! Security around you prevents intruders. Without character, Satan has access.
When the foundation is not character, the whole building will collapse.
Character is better than beauty!
Prayer: Lord, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Help me to develop a Godly character that will secure my destiny. In Jesus name, Amen.
